Simple pricing

$200 per service. Paid by Zelle or Venmo. After the appointment. After the certificate is issued. No additional fees of any kind.

What's included

The $200 flat fee covers the full administrative process:

How payment works

Payment is collected after the appointment is complete and the certificate is issued. You don't pay anything upfront.

Accepted payment methods:

No credit-card processing fees. No PayPal fees. No payment plan or financing offered (the appointment is one-time; $200 is a single transaction).

What you don't pay

If for any reason your documentation doesn't pass review during the appointment, or you're determined not yet eligible (hours short, FIRC not within window, etc.), there is no charge. We discuss what's needed and you come back when ready.

Multi-service pricing

$200 flat per appointment. If you have more than one item that may be eligible to handle together (for example a CFI renewal alongside another administrative action), mention it on the contact form and we'll confirm what fits in a single appointment.

How this compares

The FAA does not publish a DPE rate schedule. Typical DPE pricing for initial-checkride practical tests ranges from $600 to $1,200. Daytona DPE focuses exclusively on administrative examiner work (no practical tests), which carries lower complexity and shorter appointments, allowing the flat $200 rate.

In-person SOE removals or CFI renewals at a FSDO are free in principle, but FSDO appointments are notoriously hard to schedule and require in-person travel. The $200 price point is the time-saver tax — most pilots find it well worth it.

Why a flat rate?

  1. No pricing games. Hourly rates create incentive to drag appointments out. Flat rate means we're both motivated to finish efficiently.
  2. Predictable for you. No surprise fees on the back end.
  3. Aligned with the service model. Daytona DPE only does administrative actions — they're all roughly the same workload from the examiner's side. One price.

Frequently asked

Why is it only $200?
Daytona DPE focuses exclusively on administrative examiner actions — no practical tests. Administrative actions are lower-complexity and shorter than initial-issuance checkrides, which justifies a lower price point. Pilots pay for what they need.
When do I pay?
After the appointment is complete and the certificate is issued. Not before. No charge if you're determined not yet eligible during the appointment.
What payment methods are accepted?
Zelle and Venmo. Both at the appointment. No fees.
Are there extra fees I should know about?
No. The $200 is everything. No travel, rescheduling, cancellation, unqualified, payment-processing, or same-day fees.
Do you offer payment plans?
No. The appointment is a single transaction.
Can I get a discount for multiple services?
Each service is its own $200. They're priced flat because each appointment requires its own DMS oversight entry and IACRA processing. No combination discount available — that said, the back-to-back scheduling itself saves you waiting time.
Does the price change if I'm international or military?
No. Same $200 for everyone, worldwide.
